Programmed education is one of the main features of learning theories and applications, it is one of the most important methods of self-learning that allows the use of learning skills effectively, which contributes to the development of the learner behaviorally, cognitively and emotionally, and provide him with abilities to absorb the data of the era of globalization and speed.
To the novelty of this method we find those in charge of the educational process deal with it with a kind of caution, perhaps for misunderstanding, or for lack of knowledge of the practical aspect and how to employ it in the field of teaching, or because of the large number of learners in the classroom and taking into account the individual differences between students.
Therefore, those interested in the field of education had to pay attention to knowing its importance in the educational process, by highlighting its principles, features, types and shortcomings in its use, and this is what the current research sought by dividing the research according to the following: The first topic: introducing research, by highlighting the problem of research and its importance and purpose and determining its terms.
The second research: aspects of theory and previous studies The third research: the design of a computerized study unit according to programmed education The fourth topic: conclusions, recommendations and proposals
