Abstract EN

The aim of the research was to find out the relationship between the reading ability and reading skills in the fourth grade students.

To achieve this goal, the researcher developed zero hypotheses about the relationship of the spelling ability to the number of hypotheses (10) The researcher selected a sample of the students of the seventh grade of primary school in the Directorate of Education of Resaca the first in the province of Baghdad in the interim method random, the size of this sample (60) students and students, 30 students and 30 students, On his sample pupils and analyzed The results showed that there was a relationship between the spelling ability and comprehension of reading, reading health, reading speed and reading accuracy of students (males) and girls (girls) for the fourth grade of primary.

In light of the results of the research, the researcher concluded: There is no difference between the fourth grade pupils (males) (Female) in the relation of the ability of spelling skills reading and that all literacy skills have an impact on the ability of spelling except speed reading, and in the light of the results of the research and conclusions, the researcher recommends directing teachers and teachers of the fourth grade of primary need to pay attention to the ability of spelling, In view of the current research, and supplementing it, the researcher suggests conducting subsequent studies on fifth and sixth graders.
