Abstract EN

This study aimed to develop massive open online course (MOOC) for information technology subject in the light of (QM) standards and to identify their effectiveness in developing multimedia design and production skills, for secondary school students, to achieve this, the researcher followed the experimental method in applying the study tools, which consisted of an achievement test to measure cognitive aspects, and a product evaluation card to measure the performance aspects of multimedia design and production skills, the researcher applied the study to a sample of (42) female students of the eleventh grade in the literary branch of humanities, and the experimental design used the design of one experimental group with a pre and post measurement in applying the study tools, the study concluded that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the before application and the post application in testing multimedia design and production skills, and the researcher recommended the necessity of adopting the authorities responsible for developing curricula to design an open source electronic educational platform, especially in the palestinian curriculum for all academic levels.
