Abstract EN

This study aimed at finding the effectiveness of an a proposed educational program – in the light of contemporary trends in developing skills of producing the contemporary ceramics form among female students of the art education department in fine arts faculty of al-Aqsa university .the researcher used the semi- experimental approach.

the study included : a product evaluation card of the skills of contemporary ceramics form ,a cognitive test in skills of producing the contemporary ceramics form.

the study showed that there are statistically significant difference s at the level of significance between the mean scores of the students of the art education department in the pre and post applications of the cognitive skills test the production of the contemporary ceramics and the effect of the program is large and it has achieved great effectiveness in the dimensions of the cognitive test .this study also came out with some recommendations that would enhance activation of the application of ( DBAE) in art education ,and art curricula in the stages of university education in art facilities, and the adoption of modern trends in teaching ceramics ( DBAE) as it balances the knowledge and skill side of students .
