Abstract EN

The study aimed to determine the trends of educational counselors towards the use of counseling by playing in their remote counseling work during the corona pandemic, according to study variables, gender, years of service, and place of work.

the study sample included (112) male and female counsellors.

for the purpose of the study, the correlative descriptive approach was used, and a scale of attitudes towards counseling by playing was developed by (14) paragraphs, and the psychometric characteristics of it were extracted, and it was appropriate.

the results of the study found that the level of educational counselors' attitudes towards using counseling by playing in their remote counseling work during the corona pandemic was average.

the results also indicated that there were differences in the level of their attitudes towards the use of play counseling according to the variable years of service and in favor of the group from (5 to less than 10 years), and the absence of differences in the level of their attitudes toward the use of play counseling according to the variables of gender and workplace.

the study recommended the necessity of holding training courses for educational counselors in order to improve their skills towards using counseling by playing in their remote counseling work.
