Abstract EN

The study aims to define the effectiveness of support services in academic and social improvement of students with disabilities in special education centers from teachers and parents’ point of view.

the sample of the study consisted of (106) special education teachers, and (106) parents.

to achieve the study objectives, support services questionnaire and academic and social improvement questionnaire were used.

the results of the study showed that the level of support service provided to students with disabilities in special education centers from teachers and parents’ point of view was moderate.

it also showed that the level of academic and social improvement of students with disabilities in special education centers from teachers and parents’ point of view was moderate.

the results revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the total degree of support services and academic and social improvement of students with disabilities in special education centers from teachers and parents’ point of view.

in light of the results, recommendations were provided.
