Abstract EN

The current study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of applying the stem approach in developing teamwork and critical thinking, and the trend towards it among students of the basic stage in Palestine.

three scales were applied : the critical thinking scale, the teamwork scale, and the attitude scale towards steam, after examining the validity and reliability of the three scales.

the results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences on teamwork, critical thinking, and attitude attributed to the use of the stem approach, all in favor of the dimensional application, which indicates the positive impact of the applied program.

the research sample is about stem topics, attributed to the variables of gender, grade, and place of residence, and the study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: inviting school curriculum developers to adopt an appropriate educational unit based on the stem approach in technology, science and mathematics courses.
