Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify administrative competencies of school principals in Irbid governorate from the teachers' point of view.

the descriptive approach was used, and the study participants were (850) of public schools and teachers.

the results of the study showed that the administrative competencies of school principals in Irbid governorate from the teachers' point of view came at a low level.

the results of the study indicated that there were statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α = 0.05) between the two arithmetic averages of the estimates of the study sample members and on each field of the study tool related to the administrative competencies of school principals from the teachers’ point of view (the field of human competencies, the field of cognitive competencies, the field of professional competencies) and this is attributed to the gender variable, and the differences are in favor of females, and the results of the study indicated that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α = 0.05) and this is due to the variable of educational qualification, and the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance ( α = 0.05) due to the variable number of years of experience10 years or more.
