The importance of this paper comes from dealing with the cultural relations between the Red Sea coaSt and the Nile Valley by connecting two important historical cities, Kerma and Sawakin , by proposing a revival of the Hajj route that was between them until the middle of thel9thcentury based on travelers references and oral testimonies , Historical Analytical approach .

This proposal may contribute effectively to portraying the tourism movement in Sudan.
