This study provide a comparative study between what was written by the classical (Greek and Roman) writers and the Arab historians and travelers about the plant and agricultural environment in the Arabian peninsula.

such as trees and natural plants like grasses and wild plants in mountains, deserts and agricultural.

they mentioned many fragrant-smelling plants, like frankincense, myrrh, acacia Arabica, cinnamon, dates, grapes, incense and spices.

also medicinal plants, herbs, medicines and antitoxins.

the research aims to know the important economic impact of this plant environment on the life of the people of the Arabian peninsula and its interactions, impact, influence and his relationships with the people of the ancient world.
