The paper dealt with the independence of the Sudan had been achieved through the efforts and resistance of all the Sudanese people and political groups of Sudanese society, until the moment it was announced from inside the parliament.

this revolutionary movement was supported by the roles played by the secret societies, the zeal and patriotism of those in charge of organizing work in them.

the paper also reviewed the role of the Sudanese national movement in resisting British colonialization by various means, such as publishing articles through al-Hadara newspaper and Sawt al-Sudan newspaper, to enlighten the people.

the paper also focused on the role of the political parties represented by the Umma party and the brothers’ party in developing the idea of obtaining autonomy, which led to the declaration of the independence from inside the parliament on 12/19/ 1955 ad by the militant leader Ismail al-Azhari, who was secondedbythe representative, Mashwar Jumaa Sahal, deputy of Dar Hamid district in north kordofan province.
