The aim of the research is to know the degree of participation of the Arabic language book for the first intermediate grade in Iraq in the field of material presentation and activities.
To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and followed the formula (Rumi) to determine the book’s participation for students.
The research community consisted of the Arabic language book for the first intermediate grade for the academic year (2021-2022).
Study units representing the total units of the first part of the Arabic grammar book for the first intermediate grade.
As for the activities, all of the (30) activities were adopted by the researcher, and after conducting the analysis and ensuring its stability, the results resulted in: ), which is a good percentage; It exceeded the minimum standard set by Romy, which amounted to (0.40), and the coefficient of the degree of book involvement in terms of activities was (0.22), which is an unacceptable coefficient according to the standard set by Romy, which is limited to (0.40 -1).
