Abstract The current research aimed to identify (the seriousness of work and its relationship to administrative transparency for primary school principals).

The current research identified primary school principals in the Baghdad governorate for the academic year (2021-2022) and the research sample consisted of (150) principals, 75 males and (75) Of the females, they were selected from the original community of primary school principals in the Third Rusafa Directorate of Education in Baghdad Governorate, whose number is (375) principals.

The researcher extracted indicators of validity and reliability for the two scales.

The researcher used a set of statistical methods, including (one- sample t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach's alpha equation, chi-square).

The statistical package (SPSS) was used to reach the results required in the research procedures.

The current research concluded that school principals Elementary schools enjoy an acceptable level of seriousness in working in their schools.

Primary school principals enjoy an average level of administrative transparency of educational work from their point of view, and there is a moderate relationship between seriousness in work and administrative transparency.
