The aim of the research is to identify the level of post-traumatic stress disorder among students of the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Mosul by building a scale to achieve this goal in its initial form of (32) paragraphs distributed over four areas representing the types of post-traumatic stress disorder as defined by theoretical frameworks as well as the goal of identifying On .

Indications of the statistical differences in the level of post-traumatic stress disorder among students of the College of Education for Human Sciences according to the variables (gender, location of residence).

And to identify the level of psychological alienation among students of the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Mosul and the significance of the statistical differences in the level of psychological alienation among students of the College of Education for Human Sciences according to the research variables (gender, , location of residence) and to identify the relationship between post-traumatic stress disorder and psychological alienation among students College of Education for Human Sciences.

The size of the research sample was (300) male and female students they were chosen by stratified random method from the sections (geography, history, Quranic sciences, English) and the PTSD scale was applied to them, which the researcher built and extracted its psychometric properties from (apparent honesty, structural honesty, discriminatory strength and stability coefficient, whose value amounted to (0.89).

), which is a good reliability coefficient that was calculated using the test re-application method.

The researcher applied the (Abbas, 2016) measure of psychological alienation, which in its final form consisted of (50 items), and extracted its apparent sincerity and stability coefficient, whose value reached (0.83).

The researcher relied on the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) in data processing and reached the following results: 1.

The general level of post-traumatic stress disorder among students in the College of Education for Human Sciences is above average.

2.There is a statistically significant difference in the level of psychological alienation according to the gender variable in favor of females.

.3There is a direct correlation between post-traumatic stress disorder and psychological alienation among students of the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Mosul.

In light of the results, the researcher made some recommendations, including:The researcher recommends the responsible authorities at the University of Mosul to activate the role of the guidance committees in all faculties and departments, provided that they are managed by professors of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences exclusively to identify students’ problems and help them develop solutions to them.

The researcher also suggested some suggestions, including: Conducting an experimental study to alleviate post-traumatic stress disorder and psychological alienation among female students and male students living in the right of the city of Mosul.
