Abstract EN

The research aims to identify psychological flourishing and self-esteem among students of private colleges, as well as to identify the differences in psychological flourishing and self-esteem according to the variables of gender (male - female) and specialization (scientific - human), as well as to identify the correlation between psychological prosperity and self-esteem.

The research sample consisted of (240) male and female students who were chosen in an equal stratified random manner.

The researcher adopted the Al-Obaidi scales (2019) for psychological flourishing and the Erebat and Al-Zaghloul self-esteem scale (2008) after extracting honesty and constancy of the two scales.

The data were treated statistically by using the statistical package (spss).

The results were that college students enjoy a level of psychological flourishing as well as self- esteem.

There are no statistically significant differences in psychological flourishing as well as self-esteem according to gender variables (male - female) as well as specialization (scientific - human).The researcher gives a number of recommendations and suggestions according to the results of the research.
