Abstract EN

The aim of the research was to identify the effect of using the strategy of heads numbered together in the achievement of students of the fourth grade of computer science.

In order to achieve the research objective, the researcher formulated the following hypothesis: There is no statistically significant difference at the mean level between the average achievement of the students of the experimental group who studied the strategy of numbered heads together and the students of the control group who studied in the usual way.

In order to carry out the research experiment, a sample was randomly selected from the fourth grade students at Fatima Al-Zahraa Girls School in the city of Mosul for the academic year 2018/2019.

The total number of students was 45 randomly distributed to two groups.

The experimental group consisted of (25) , And the other is the control group of (20) students studied according to the usual method.

The researcher prepared a collection test which is in the final form of (30) thematic paragraphs of a multiple choice type.

The test was characterized by honesty and consistency.

The experiment was applied in the first semester, as the teaching plans for both groups were prepared by one share per week.

After collecting the data statistically, the results showed the following: There is a statistically significant difference between the average collection of the two groups of research and for the benefit of the experimental group.
