Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to measure the effectiveness of a training program based on imitation and its impact on improving basic learning and language skills for children with autism disorder.

Arabization, Adel Abdullah (2006), and the imitation skill scale for children with autism disorder (ABLLS) (prepared by the researcher).

The research tools were applied to a sample of children suffering from autism spectrum disorder and developmental delay in the age group (3-9) years with an average of (five and a half years), and their number is (5) children and they represent the experimental group and they are of an economic level, social, and cultural average.

The researcher relied in the current research on the quasi-experimental approach.

The results of the research revealed that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean of the total ranks of the experimental group scores in this dimension in favor of the dimensional application, where the positive ranks < the negative ranks, and the Z value = (2.901), which is a statistically significant value at the level (0.05).

The results also proved that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean of the total ranks of the experimental group's scores in this dimension in favor of the sequential application, where the positive ranks came < the negative ranks And the value of Z = (2.620), which is a statistically significant value at the level (0.05).

The researcher found that the average gain percentage achieved for the program in improving basic skills for learning and language among children with autism disorder = (1.14).

), which is greater than (1), which indicates that the training program has an acceptable degree of effectiveness in improving the basic skills of learning and language among children with autism disorder
