Her responsibility at the expense of her social and psychological conditions, and the researcher felt the problem of his research by conducting an exploratory study on a sample of (100) widowed women among the women present in Diyala governorate within the ages (25-45) years.

The problem of the current research was manifested in the following question (Is Does the counseling method have an effect in reducing the frustration of widowed mothers?) The researcher used the Al-Zaydi Scale (2013) for frustration, then the researcher prepared a counseling program and applied it to widows who suffer from frustration.

The widow and the society’s inferior view of some widows and their weak sense of self-confidence and the low social services provided to them in terms of satisfying their material needs in earning a affluent livelihood and the weak integration of women The widow’s woman in community activities and the lack of health services provided to her, which makes the woman unable to meet her needs.

After applying the indicative program, the research hypothesis was verified and that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the ranks of the experimental group and the control group.
