Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the educational practices in the application of the STEM model around the world and the State of Qatar in the period between (2010- 2020).

The systematic review method was used to analyze the results that dealt with the application of the STEM model according to some criteria and variables that must be available in the previous studies (study sample).

The results of the study revealed similarities in the application of the STEM model in some countries around the world and the State of Qatar in terms of presenting a modern curriculum which integrates science, mathematics, technology, and engineering while preparing students for the twenty-first century challenges and the labor market.

The difference in the application of the STEM model in the State of Qatar was that it is presented only to the outstanding students at the secondary level.

However, in most foreign countries, it is offered for all educational stages, in addition to a number of programs and activities outside schools.

A set of recommendations were presented in this research, including: the necessity of applying the STEM model in all educational stages gradually, and providing training courses for teachers in schools to teach the STEM model.
