This study aims at investigating the extent of including NCTM standards in mathematics textbooks’ content in Palestine (Grades 9-11) in the area of data analysis and probability.
To achieve the purpose of the study, content analysis was adopted to analyze the textbooks by using the NCTM standards checklist.
The results of the study showed that the domain of data analysis and probability standards are included in mathematics textbooks with a percentage of (86.36%).
The content of these textbooks in the field of the study achieved (19) indicators out of (22) indicators, whereas it did not achieve (3) indicators in the field of the study with a percentage of (13.64%).
The study recommended to complete the unfulfilled standards indicators in the area of data analysis and probability for (Grades 9-11) in light of NCTM standards.
