Abstract EN

The present study aims to identify the factors that lead to the escape of students from the public schools in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate according to the educational counselors' point of view.

The study population consists of the educational counselors working in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, whose total number is (124) individuals from both male and female, while the study sample consists of (62) individual, also, from both male and female using the table of random numbers.

In this study we used the descriptive survey method, and we reviewed the available literature related to the research topic.

The results of this present study indicate that the household axis, the personality axis, the peer axis, and the school axis have obtained the following arithmetic averages respectively: (3, 95), (3, 85), (3, 71), and (3, 40).

The overall average of the responses of the respondents in the four areas shown above came to a large extent, reaching (3.71).

Furthermore, he results of this study shows that there were no statistically significant differences in the averages of the responses of the study sample individuals at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the factors that lead to the escape of the students from the public schools in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate according to the educational counselors 'viewpoint due to the degree variables, and the number of Years of service, workplace and academic specialization; While it found statistically significant differences depending on the gender variable in favor of female.
