The study aimed to reveal the availability of science standards for the next generation NGSS in the content of the science curriculum for the third grade, and ways to employ them in distance learning in light of the Corona pandemic from the teachers’ point of view, and to achieve the goal of the study, the study tool was built; The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)-based Content Analysis Card, and the descriptive analytical approach were used.

The results of the content analysis revealed that the most common criteria included in the science curriculum for the third grade were “scientific and engineering practices” with a percentage (84.30%), then “intersecting concepts” at a percentage (10.10%), then “central ideas” with a percentage (5.60).
