Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to build a practical concept for implementing the Kaizen strategy in universities in object of continuous improvement and development, to benefit universities in improving processes and thus improving their outputs.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used three types of approaches: The deductive approach, the retrospective approach, and the analytical approach to delve into the study of the subject of study and obtain an accurate summary and find solutions that contribute to solving the problem in a practical way by finding or proposing a practical concept that enables universities to apply a strategy or a Kaizen methodology in their management, which helps change with the aim of continuous improvement.

The results of the study showed that the implementation of the Kaizen strategy in universities has several advantages, including saving time and effort, which leads to efficient financial spending and thus increases the efficiency and performance of universities, and the study concluded with a proposed practical concept that enables universities, when applied, to follow the Kaizen strategy to achieve their goals, taking into account the reasons for Successful implementation of the proposal, avoiding obstacles to its success.

One of the most prominent recommendations of the study was the necessity for the management of the university to believe in the importance and usefulness of applying the Kaizen methodology in developing and improving the work and the university’s outputs, and the university should form a committee to follow up the implementation of the strategy, provided that the committee members are trained on the methodology before starting the application so that the Kaizen methodology works.
