Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the reality of the understanding and practice of Islamic Education teachers of the training assessment in the public secondary schools in Nablus, where the study used the analytical descriptive curriculum.

The size of the community was (103) teachers.

A survey sample of (20) teachers from the study community was selected.

The sample size wad (60) teachers and they constituted (58.2%) of the study community.

The results of the study was great and the overall degree of the scale of the formative evaluation was average.

The study showed that the coefficients of correlation between the reality of understanding and practice of Islamic Education teachers of the training assessment in Nablus City schools came positive and significant.

In the light of the results of the study, the following recommendations were made: enlightening of Islamic Education teachers on the importance of the training assessment in improving performance and student achievement.

The need to carry out future studies on the relationship between understanding the training assessment, and its practice by teachers at other stages of study and in different disciplines.
