The study provided a critical analysis of the negative character in the dramatic text "Jamal Al-Din Al-Afghani" by Ahmed Raef, by analyzing the negative characters in the text, showing the negative character and its transgression of social taboos, its corruption and betrayal, and its dehumanization.

The study also addressed the image of the colonizer as a negative, tyrannical and condescending character.

The study used the descriptive analytical approach, by analyzing the negative characters, and showing their characteristics and constituents.

The results of the study showed that all the negative characters in the dramatic text "Jamal Al-Din Al-Afghani" emerged as characters incapable of reform and unable to solve problems, and that their negativity pushes them to make things worse, practice corruption and injustice, and harm others.

The text portrayed the character of the colonizer in the dramatic text as a negative, condescending and tyrannical character, and that what this character is entitled to is not entitled to others.
