Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the impact of social media sites on values among the Jordanian youth from the perspective of the students of postgraduate studies at Mu'tah university.

The study sample consisted of (550) male and female students, representing about (20.19%) from the study population with a total of (2724) male and female students.

The number of master degree students was (461) male and female students, while the number of PhD students was (89).

The study used the analytical descriptive approach using the social survey by random sample.

Based on the results concluded from applying the study instrument, the results revealed that there are high and positive perceptions among the study sample individuals towards the impact of social media sites on the system of the youth values concerning the value domains addressed by the study.

The impact of social media sites on the professional values among the youth in the first place in terms of the relative importance with a high level, followed by their impact on spiritual, national and societal values with a high level, while the individual values were in the last place with a medium level.
