Abstract EN

The research aims to study Government planning and its reflection on the performance of professional associations in Jordan, and the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and to achieve the goal of the study, a closed questionnaire was designed and distributed to a random proportional sample of (120) leaders from the members of the current and former professional associations councils.

The researcher used the SPSS statistical software package to explain the research problem.

The research concluded that there is an impact of government planning on the performance of professional aassociations, and that government planning affects a positive medium level on the performance of professional aassociations, and that professional aassociations face a number of challenges, most notably the lack of legislation, the widening unemployment among unionists, and the limited participation of women in union work.

The research ended with a number of recommendations, the most important of which are re-conducting the research and applying the questionnaire to three samples, the first representing the opinion of trade aassociations leaders, the second representing the opinion of trade unionists, and the third representing the opinion of governments, and working to develop an agreed plan between government institutions and professional aassociations to deal with challenges.
