The purpose of this research is to discover the science of the ways we should stop our breath at verses while we are reading Quran (Waqf) that Imam Al-Habti who was one of the most interested in this science throw Surat Al-Tawbaa.

And to illustrate these ways in terms of language and interpretation, used to mention the utterance of the most famous scholars in this subject.

Moreover, this science is considered one of the most important sciences because it is related to the holy Quran.

Besides this science needs discerning of syntax and semantics.

This research sheds light on the syntactic and semantic ways that Imam Al-Habti chose in this subject.

Moreover, to discover his methods that he uses when he practices Waqf while reading Quran verses in Surat Al-Tawbaa.

This research is based on the books of language, interpretation and scholars' opinion of Waqf and the start of the verses in the holy Quran.
