"Test Anxiety and it's Relation to Academic Achievement to the second – Stage Students in Mathematics Department at College of Education – AL – MuQdad / Diyala University.

Abstract Research aims at identifying the test anxiety and its relation to academic achievement among students in the Mathematics Department at the college of education – AL - Meqdad/Diyala University from the Point of view of students.

 The researchers followed the analytical descriptive method , where they prepare (questionnaire) and number of items (45) revolves around test anxiety and its relationship in the academic achievement of the students.

 The researchers adopted the three-pronged scale to answer the questionnaire and items is (often, sometimes, rarely), and select the direction of dividing each estimate on categories (2/3) to determine the answer from the point of view of students.

The research sample included all student ( seconds - stage) in the Department of Mathematics in the college of Education – AL – MuQdad / Diyala University for the Academic year ( 2018/ 2019) .

the research Students Was (102) male and female Students .

The researchers distributed the questionnaire on the research sample at the end of the first semester (2018/ 2019) .

The researchers used the following Means :  The mathematical mean .

 Standard Deviation .

 Alpha Kronbachs .

After analyzing and processing the results , the research results in the following :  Test anxiety leads to its relation to affect in acadmic achievement .

 Test anxiety to tension that affects students and affect mental processes , like attention and thinking , focus and remembrance .

 The test anxiety is reflected in the emotional test student during tests .

The research Concluded that a number of recommendations including :  The need to provide a relaxed atmosphere during tests to relieve and tension and unrest among students .

The research Concluded that a number of proposals , including :  A similar study in other Departments and Colleges , and universities ."
