Abstract EN

This study aims to clarify the preference terms between the different narrations of Imam Al-Bukhari in Al-Jami Al-Sahih, the study tracked the preference terms, so they numbered nine words, which are: (more like, not saved, obviously, attributed, more, more correct, correct, correct and more, more and clearer to me).

The results indicated that al-Bukhari cites narrations with different expressions within al-Sahih, then he preposes between them in an explicit wording with an explanation of the preference presumption on which he relied.

He sometimes mentions the reason for mentioning the favored narration, such as his saying, "but we showed their difference" or "we only mentioned it for knowledge." The results also indicated that these differences between the narrations have no effect on the authenticity of the hadiths of Sahih al-Bukhari because the original hadith is the most correct.

Rather, they are differences between the wording of the narrations, which Imam Al-Bukhari explicitly referred to so as not to confuse the reader.

This, in turn, indicates that Al-Bukhari is aware of these differences and is not oblivious to them through his explicit preference for them.
