Dhargham Jabbar Hammoud College of Education/Al-Mustansiriya University bvcdsds668@gmail.com Abstrac The current study aims to know (the effect of the developed strategy (DKWDLS) on reading comprehension among second-grade students in the Arabic language, reading).

Rusafa Education /3, and the researcher put his null hypothesis “There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the students of the experimental group who study the Arabic language subject (reading) using the developed strategy ((DKWDLS) and the average scores of the students of the control group, who study the traditional way of reading comprehension).

Reward the researcher the experimental and control groups by using the T-test (and chi-square) in the following variables (grades of the previous year, the chronological age of students calculated in months, and the academic achievement of the parents), where a test was made to measure reading comprehension, with The students consisted of (30) test items, prepared for all teaching plans, For all the topics that will be studied in the first semester, for the two experimental groups, and the control group, after they were presented to a group of experts and arbitrators in the field of measurement and evaluation, curricula and methods of teaching them, and it was found after analysis Post-test results, the students of the experimental group, whose students were taught using the developed (DKWDLS) strategy, outperformed the control group whose students were taught in the traditional way.test.
