This article aims at exploring the opinions of Exegetes concerning the meaning of “characters” sifat by which Allah swears.

The Qur’an uses the letter “fa” to connect some of these characters.

According to some scholars, this usage of “fa” plays a significant role to reveal what is meant by the characters.

The current article investigates the importance and effect of the letter “fa” and concludes that some scholars rely on the “fa” to link between “characters” in the same context and that leads to easily decide the right meaning of them.
