The research aims to evaluate the performance of physics teachers in the Iraqi educational satellite channel.

The research community included all physics teachers (8) teachers and their educational lessons on television (413) television educational lessons that were shown on the Iraqi educational satellite channel during the years (2014-2019).

A random sample of (35%) of the total lessons of each physics teacher was chosen, with a total of (145) television educational lessons that formed the research sample.

The research tool, which is the observation card, includes (20) items distributed into five areas, namely (presentation and implementation of the lesson, selection, preparation and use of educational technologies, education promotion, media and television technologies, electronic communication) in order to evaluate the performance of physics teachers in educational satellite channels in the light of the teacher's skills.

The results indicate that there is a clear decline in the performance of some physics teachers in educational lessons, due to several reasons, including: Not showing films and video clips in educational lessons, not using educational platforms that allow communication with a large number of students, the lack of use of educational pictures and blueprints, the lack of use of smart boards, the lack of scientific experiments and educational activities during the lesson, and the lack of interest in developing scientific tendencies towards the subject of physics in Students.
