This research talks about the parallel text in the pipe dream group of Al-Hazmi, reveals the beauty of the parallel texts in the group, and the extent of their impact on the reader, as the basis for the essence of the literary text.

The phenomenon of thresholds constitutes a connecting link and a decisive, pivotal moment between a group of marginal texts (title, dedication, images, drawings, introductory speech, and guiding texts) and the main text, so this phenomenon was distinctive and prominent in contemporary narration.

The Jazan narration comes to cope with these texts based on cognitive mechanisms that delve into the depths to extract that appealing according to a specific format determined by reading.
