The current study aimed to identify the reality of applying education for sustainable development in Northern Border University from the faculty perspective.

It also sought to determine whether there were any statistically significant differences between the participants’ mean responses in the reality of applying education for sustainable development in Northern Border University from a faculty perspective due to gender, specialization, and years of experience.

The descriptive survey method was adopted, and a questionnaire was developed as the study tool.

The sample consisted of (204) faculty members, who were randomly selected.

The study’s findings demonstrated a medium degree for the reality of applying education for sustainable development in Northern Border University from the faculty perspective.

There were no statistically significant differences in the participants’ mean responses to the reality of applying education for sustainable development in Northern Border University due to gender and years of experience.

However, there were statistically significant differences in the participants’ mean responses to the reality of applying education for sustainable development in Northern Border University due to specialization, in favor of scientific specialization.

On the basis of these findings, the study recommended the need to update and develop the strategic plan of NBU, including its vision, mission, and objectives for fields of sustainable development.
