أثر توظيف استراتيجية الجيكسو (Jigsaw)‎ في تنمية مهارات التفكير التأملي و اتخاذ القرار في مبحث الرياضيات لدى طالبات الصف التاسع الأساسي بفلسطين

Abstract EN

The study aimed to investigate the effect of Jigsaw strategy on developing reflective thinking skills and decision-taking in mathematics among ninth grade students, The experimental approach was constructed to achieve the study goal.

The tools and materials that the researcher used were: a test of reflective thinking skills, the decision-taking scale, and a teacher's guide based on the Jigsaw strategy.

The sample of the study consisted of (80) female students of ninth grade, they were divided into two groups equally, (40) students in the experimental group and they were taught by using Jigsaw strategy, and (40) students in the control group and they were taught by traditional way.

To make sure that the hypotheses are true and to answer the minor questions of the study, the two researchers used some statistical tests, such as: T-test, and the Eta square .The results of the study showed that there were significant statistical differences at (α=0.05) between the means of the experimental and control group in the post- test at the reflective thinking skills test and the decision-taking scale, In favor of the experimental group.

In addition of that, there was a large influence of Jigsaw Strategy on developing reflective thinking skills for the experimental group, where the value of the size of the effect of the reflective thinking skills (0.64), and attained to decision-taking skills (0.69).
