درجة قياس أسئلة امتحانات الثانوية العامة في موضوع اللغة العربية للمستويات العقلية وفق تصنيف "دروزة" للأهداف التعلمية خلال السنوات الدراسية (2015-2019 م)‎

Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to investigate the degree that the General High School Exams’ questions in Arabic language measure the mental levels according to Darwazeh’s Learning Taxonomy.

To accomplish this aim, the last five academic years (2015-2019) exams were taken as an intentional sample.

The sample consisted of (548) main and sub-questions.

The questions were analyzed according to its frequencies and percentages in measuring the mental processes.

It also analyzed according to its type whether they are essay or objective questions.

By using the descriptive, qualitative statistics, the results revealed that percentage of questions which measured low levels of mental processes, such as remember specific information, remember general information and comprehension was higher (% 51.42) than the percentage of questions which measured the high levels of mental processes, such as application, evaluation and creativity (% 33.02) and the medium ones, such as analysis and synthesis (% 15.56) The results also revealed that the percentage of essay questions was higher (79.4%) than the objective questions (20.6%).

However, the study lake of any question measured organization or meta-cognitive levels.

Based on results, the authors recommend people who’s in charge to use different levels questions especially the medium and high levels.
