Abstract EN

This research attempts to study the phenomenon of black colour in Jamharat Ash'ar Al-Arab (AL-Muntaqayat, Al-Mujamharat, Al-Marathi, and Al-Muashubat) by Abi Zaid Al-Qurashi , It Tries to understand the colour's connotations in direct and indirect symbolism, and reveals its secrets, depths and interpretation according to its logical textual levels.

The research also aims to demonstrate the extent to which the black colour phenomenon is used in poetic texts and to show the aesthetic and cultural dimension achieved by these connotations.

It also tries to find out the manifestations of the colour black in order to decipher its code and know its semantic dimensions that exist within the poetic discourse .

the researcher found out that the black colour was abundantly present in the poetic texts directly and indirectly.

The research included an introduction, one topic, and a conclusion.

As for the introduction, it was about colour and the importance of using it within the framework of the poetic context, followed by a brief talk about the nature and function of semiotics And it ends with a conclusion with the most important results.
