Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the challenges and ways of improvement for distance training programs in 1441-1442 AH affiliated to Educational Center for Professional Development (ECPD).

A descriptive survey method was adopted, with questionnaire applied to (31) trainers from faculties.

The results showed that the distance summer training programs of ECPD face challenges to a medium degree from the trainers’ point of view, on the top was the challenges related to the trainee at a medium degree, then the challenges of the training program, while the challenges of the training management dimension came in the last with a weak degree.

The results also revealed the trainers' high support to ECPD improve distance training programs.

The 1st way of support was the development of a mechanism to motivate trainers and trainees.

The study made few recommendations that may help the center to improve its distance training programs.
