عدد خاص قدم الباحثون اللغويون العرب على اختلاف مشاربهم و توجهاتهم خدمات جليلة للدرس اللساني العربي من خلال مؤلفاتهم و بحوثهم، وفي مقدمتها المؤلفات التمهيدية التي تغيت تبسيط علم اللغة و تقديمه في شكل ميسر يتيح للقارئ التعاطي المنهجي معه و استيعابه، و تحقيق الفائدة المرجوة من دراسة هذا العلم الذي عد آنذاك وافدا جديدا.

و يعد كتاب "علم اللغة، لقارئ العربي" لمحمود السعران واحدا من المؤلفات الرائدة في هذا المجال؛ حيث يتميز بجملة من الخصائص المنهجية والموضوعية تجلت في اختيار مادة الكتاب، و تبويبه، و ترتيب فصوله، و مباحثه، و إكثاره من الأمثلة، و تنويع موارد بحثه، و تزويده بمعجم مفيد.

English Abstract

the Arabic linguistic researchers -alhtough their different backgrounds and orientations- had provided a great services to the Arabic linguistic lesson through their books and researches, in the foremost of which are the introductory linguistic literatures that aimed the simplification of language science and presented it in an easy form that enable the reader to systematically deal with it and understand it, and to achieve the desired benefit from studying this science wich was considered new in that time.

One of the pioneering books in this field is “Language Science, Introduction to the Arabic Reader” by the author Mahmoud Al-Saaran, It is characterized by a set of methodological and objective characteristics that have been manifested in the selection of his book contents, the classification of its chapters, putting a lot of examples, diversification of his research resources, and providing it with a Useful dictionary...

these and other features have made him a pioneering book, and important for the novice reader, so that he can access to the linguistics from the widest doors.
