Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the role of physical education and sport in forming the personal characteristics of secondary school pupils.

The study sample included 126 students from the final sections of 5 high schools from the municipality of Al-Messila, and the sample was randomly chosen, and we relied in our study on the descriptive approach using A questionnaire as a study tool.

The study concluded that physical education establishes positive behaviors and good morals and provides many opportunities for communication and improving relations between students as well as keeping them away from various social ills, and we suggested the need to educate community members that physical and sports education is an educational tool that benefits students in many areas.
