The aim of this research is to identify the obstacles of the graduates of the music departments appointed in the schools of Basra.

The research methodology has been relied on the literary frameworks of multiple scientific research and books, as well as on the analytical descriptive approach by developing a special closed electronic questionnaire to reach the research sample in a broader and faster way.

And to measure and analyze it to reach the goal of the research, which is to reveal the most important obstacles for graduates of the music departments appointed in the schools of Basra.

And the international participation of teachers and teachers to take ideas about teaching music in Iraqi schools, and the most important recommendations were that the subject curriculum should be compatible with the teacher’s specialization, conducting scientific studies on each specialty and how to apply it in schools.
