Abstract EN

The current study aimed to employ typography in designing an advertisement to confirm the Saudi cultural identity.

The research used the descriptive approach to describe the special theoretical part of the typography and advertisement.

And the experimental approach to designing an advertisement is based on the application of the use of typography to express Saudi culture.

The results of the study showed that the Arabic typography is an essential factor that constitutes the Saudi cultural identity.

Typography is an effective tool for graphic designers to present a message in several ways.
