Abstract EN

This research is concerned with clarifying the judicial ruling (hukm shar`i) on emerging jurisprudential issues related to the Coronavirus, which has swept the whole world.

Muslims have become concerned about the impact of Coronavirus epidemic on emerging jurisprudential issues related to worship and their rulings.

The research consisted of an introduction, a preamble, two main topics, and results and recommendations.

The introductory section presented the problem of the coronavirus.

The first topic dealt with the jurisprudential issues related to the period of quarantine and curfew.

As for the second topic, it touched upon the jurisprudential issues related to the period of coexistence with the Coronavirus.

The main conclusion to be drawn from this research is the permanent validity of the Islamic religion for every time and place, its comprehensiveness and perfection, its realism and its observance of the interests of people, and the ease of its jurisprudential rulings in the protection of Islamic societies from common diseases and epidemics.

The rulings are in consistent with the prophetic approach in dealing with the plague and preventing its spread, with a view to bringing facility and ease to people in difficult circumstances.
