Abstract EN

The research aims to study the non-financial rights of the irrevocably divorced wife from a comparative and jurisprudential perspectives.

The research was divided into an introduction and a preamble, ten themed sections and a conclusion.

The preamble presented definitions of key terms and types of divorce in Islamic law.

The ten themed sections dealt with the rights of the irrevocably divorced wife, namely the tight to take custody of her children, the right to breastfeed her child, the right to nurse her child, the right to be visited by her child, the right to ascribe her child to his father, the right to get a family record, the right to have guardianship over her child, the right to marry again, the right to keep marital secrets and not to disclose them, and the right to defend herself and to be protected from harm after the divorce.

The research has revealed the importance of studying rights and spreading awareness of them among people, and the inclusiveness of Islamic law to all aspects of life, and the attention paid by the Islamic jurists to all jurisprudential matters related to the rights of God and the rights of human beings
