Abstract EN

The current research aims to know the meaning of voluntary work, its types and its requirements.

It consisted of an introduction, a preamble, two sections, and a conclusion.

It adopted several approaches, the most important of which were: the inductive, descriptive and analytical approach, then the text service procedures.

The research has revealed several findings, the most prominent of which are: the importance of voluntary and charitable work in caring for the individual, serving the community, and building nations, and that it has a close relationship with the legal necessities, and that the assignment from which the meaning of voluntary derives from may represent an entry point for its definition, and that its meaning is: what a Muslim person creates on himself that he is not obligated to do, from doing good, Providing aid and assistance - be it material or moral, an indication of goodness, or whatever - without taking a total return, or in return that is not equal to work, so what exceeds the reward of the same is voluntary, and that it is renewed with the passage of days, and people's advance, and accordingly, its types are not limited.

The research has also found that the requirements of voluntary work include sincerity and reward, knowledge of its great reward, patience and the knowledge of the etiquette of volunteer work.
