Abstract EN

Teaching of Arabic language has known several educational approaches.

The most recent one is the textual approach which surrouned Different language levels in the text, and focused on the learner as an axis of educational learning process.

The duality of the text and the learner thus became a fundamental support of learning.

But the efficacy of this textual approach in teaching the literary text will be stronger if the focus is also on the communicative approach derived from pragmatics, which aims to provide the learner with communicative competence that enables him to use the language he learns in different situations.

Highlighting the relations that lead to the cohesion and coherence of texts will necessary lead to the disclosure of their pragmatic purposes.
