The research dealt with the issue of Turks and European modernity which is great importance as it deals with the historical, political and intellectual movement of Turks.

the subject was divided into four sections; the first dealt with the Turks before the establishment of the Ottoman state; their history, culture and beliefs.

the second one talked about the Ottoman Turks and the European progress they influenced by and the reforms carried out by the sultans as a simulation for the Europeans.

the third section shed light on the Turkish experience (Mustafa Kemal Ataturk stage), the national era of the Turks and their accession to the European systems.

the fourth one involved the AKP era and its efforts to join the European union.

finally, the research came up with a set of important conclusions.
