لقد نزعت الروايات العربية والسرد بعمومه في البداية إلى تصوير الشر بمظاهر القبح (الشكلي)، كما في النظرة التقليدية المتولدة عن الموروث الشعبي القديم في الحكايات الشعبية، أين ترسخ الاعتقاد بان كل قبيح-شكلي-هو شرير، وكل جميل حسن المظهر-هو خير، لكن في رواية "وطن من زجاج" مدونة الدراسة قد كسرت قدسية هذا المعتقد من خلال التركيز على قبح آخر غير المتعارف عليه.
Abstract EN
In the beginning, Arab novels and narratives in general tended to portray evil in manifestations of (formal) ugliness, as in the traditional view generated by the ancient folklore in folk tales, where the belief was established that every ugly-formal-is evil, and every beautiful and good-looking-is good.
however, in the novel “a homeland of glass”, the blog of the study has broken the sanctity of this belief by focusing on another ugliness that is not customary.
