This article sheds light on the features of Algerian cultural identity by tracing its defining attributes in the works of the contemporary Algerian plastic artist "Bachir Yelles" including miniatures, postage stamps and paintings.

in addition to this, it presents the artist's ideas and views regarding identity formation and addressing the Algerian public in an eloquent language understood by all people at different levels of science, culture and religion and in different opinions and orientations.

the article also addresses the topic of contemporary art and its close association with globalization, as well as the resonance of contemporary art, its effects and its repercussions on the Algerian artistic environment.
